Finally getting around to doing a birthday haul post! It was my birthday on Saturday and I was lucky enough to spend the next three days in Amsterdam! I'm over the moon with all my gorgeous presents! The photo above is all the beautiful presents and the cute little cake from my lovely boyfriend.
I'll start with the books that he got me. After watching The Wolf of Wall Street I have been desperate to read the book and now I have it, can't wait to start it! I also got the Cake Boss Family Celebrations book. I am absolutely obsessed with the Cake Boss! He has other books but this one is his new one, I will definitely be getting the others in the future!
Next the makeup gifts. I have been lusting after the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette for months, finally I have it! I was so over the moon getting this, I can't wait to play with it! Then I got the Real Techniques Core Collection Kit. I have been using really basic makeup brushes for ages, I can't wait to give these a go!
Then I got a gift voucher for tickets to the Harry Potter Studio Tour. I have been banging on to my boyfriend about how much I want to go since it opened, I couldn't believe he bought me tickets to go! I'm ridiculously excited!
Finally from my boyfriend he bought me the most amazing Ted Baker bag. A girl can never have too many bags, I had been wanting a new colourful one for Spring/Summer. One I can fit all my bits in, including my DSLR. I first saw the Ted Baker bags in Selfridges in Manchester, I totally fell in love with this one! I love the patent Ted Baker style and this colour is gorgeous! It's so much more luminous in person! A lovely orange/pink/coral mix!
I also got some lovely presents (and another cake) from my mam, which are in the photo above!
I got a ridiculous amount of books! - Goldfinch, My Mad Fat Diary, My Madder Fatter Diary, The Fault in Our Stars, The Perks of Being A Wallflower and a beautiful vintage style tea party book.
Including plenty of baking books! - The Hummingbird Bakery Cookbook, The Primrose Bakery Book, The Great British Book of Baking, Mary Berry 100 Cakes & Bakes, Green & Blacks Chocolate Recipe Book. So expect plenty of nice recipes in the future! Which brings me to my next present, my free standing food mixer. I have been desperate for one of these for ages! I'm a total baking obsessive and with this I will be able to make a bigger range of goodies! Still related to baking I got a gorgeous Kelloggs vintage style apron!
I also got a gorgeous new flowery duvet cover, some scented packages for my draws, a beautiful candle, some Avon body sprays and some M&S goodies!
I was so so pleased with my presents! I am so lucky! I can't believe I'm 20!
Happy birthday! I love the Cake Boss. I saw Buddy do a demo last year at a baking show and it was so much fun! I'm so jealous of the HP Studio Tour. Drat on living in Canada and not having enough travel there for it! All of your presents are so lovely. :)
