A few weeks ago I was shopping at Discount UK when I came across this hair mask. I couldn't believe that this was only £1! A definite dupe for the Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque, which you can find here priced at £22.90. For only £1 who could resist giving it a go!
Naturally I am a brunette, a dark one at that! As you can probably tell from my profile I have extremely bleach blonde hair. It took me a couple of years to gradually get my hair this colour. I love it but it can be an absolute nightmare to maintain. Especially when your natural hair colour is as dark as mine. So my hair can dry out very easily and is also prone is split ends. This means that I need as much help as I can get with hair care.
I have been using this mask for about 3 weeks, twice a week and it is almost used up. I do have quite long hair so for shorter hair it would definitely last longer. The instructions say to shampoo first then towel dry hair. Then apply the hair mask all over. The tub says to leave it on for 7-10 minutes. However since I wanted to give this mask a good go I have been leaving it on for a good 3 hours or so. Wrapping my hair up with cling film. I don't tend to leave hair masks on for longer as hair can only absorb so much moisture.
After using this mask I can definitely see a change in my hair, whether it is completely down to this mask, I doubt, but I do think it has contributed! As a combination with this I have also been using Aussie Miracle Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner. As well as Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance Leave in Conditioner and L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil for coloured hair. I will be doing a hair care routine post in a few days so stay tuned! My hair is a lot softer and nourished, it looks bouncier and shinier. For £1 I would definitely recommend giving it a go!
