My New Year's Resolutions 2015

Happy New Year everyone! I don't normally think that the years go by too quickly, but 2014 went by in a flash. Maybe it's because I'm getting older, I refuse to believe I'm 21 this year. I still feel about 16. I thought I would do a little round up of things I'd like to work on this year.

Keep motivated - I find that I really lack motivation and I tend to feel down if I'm struggling with things, be that uni work, blogging or anything in-between. I'm going to try my hardest to keep as motivated as possible. If I feel myself slipping I need to learn when to take a break and to come back to my work refreshed.

Stay positive - Another one that I really struggle with. I'm one of those people that really looks at the big picture in life, blah blah I'm stuck in a small town, I don't know what I want to do in life, I want to travel etc. But I need to keep reminding myself of all the things I'm lucky for, my lovely boyfriend, parents, a comfy home etc.

Lose weight - An obvious one, but it's true. I know I'll feel so much better about myself if I lose a couple of stone. I'm sick of feeling like I look minging in all my clothes and would just generally like to feel healthier, fitter and not as sluggish. I don't think I'll start until all the Christmas chocolate is finished though...

Think about life after uni - It's only a year and a half until I finish uni and I have absolutely no idea what I want to do. I'm studying photography so I can't just walk into a job. I've had part time jobs in the past but a full time job really scares me, especially if I won't enjoy it. I'm planning on trying to find some internships, possibly in different areas of work, so I can try and figure out what I want to do. I know it sounds stupid but I really hate being told what to do, I massively want to start my own business, but I know it's not as easy as all that. I definitely want to start looking into all the components this year.

Don't let my blog slip - I know this year uni is only going to get harder and more time consuming, but I still want to fit in time for my little blog. I find it fun and I really don't want to let it slip, I won Best New Blog at The North East Blog Awards a few months ago and I want to keep up the good reputation.

Travel - Again another obvious one but one thing I know in life is that I want to see the world. If I had the balls to go travelling myself for months I would, but I'm happy enough exploring the world with my boyfriend on all our little trips and I'm going to make sure they continue this year.

What are your New Year's Resolutions?
