Blonde Ambition

Review & Makeup Look | Makeup Revolution Romantic Smoked Palette

Today I thought I would do a little review and makeup look for the Makeup Revolution Romantic Smoked Palette, this is the first Makeup Revolution product I've tried and I can definitely see what all the fuss is about!

The lovely people over at Beauty Product Testing were kind enough to send me this palette to test out. So onto my thoughts...

The palette retails at £4, I think the palette itself looks very sleek and if I didn't know how affordable it was, I would think it was a lot more expensive (minus the awful sponge applicator). The palette features a variety of shimmer and matte shades, ranging from purples, browns, taupes, pinks and neutrals. It reminds me a lot of the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette. The shades themselves are all lovely wearable colours.

I normally go for neural eyeshadow, so trying out the darker/different colours in this palette was quite exciting! I really like the formula, they're quite buttery, left hardly any fallout and are very pigmented. I would say they could be a little more blend-able, but for the price I still think they're a total steal!

There are so many different looks that can be created from this palette and I can't wait to experiment with more! I would definitely recommend this particular palette to others and I will be purchasing more Makeup Revolution products if they're all as good as this!

What have you tried from Makeup Revolution?
