Last Friday I was kindly invited along to one of into Eldon Square's SS15 Fashion Shows in association with Hello! Fashion Monthly, also featuring Amy Childs and some of her collection from Dorothy Perkins. The shows were running at 10, 12, 2 and 4 Friday and Saturday. Boost Juice Bars were also handing out free smoothies to seated guests, which was a nice little treat while watching the show.
The show featured some of the best picks from the high street shops in Eldon Square, featuring outfits from the SS15 Style Guide, showcasing all the latest trends. The show featured shops such as Superdry, Lipsy, Dorothy Perkins, River Island, John Lewis, New Look, Miss Selfridge, Topman and Monsoon.
I thought that all the outfits selected were lovely, none which I though 'ooh that doesn't work'. I thought that they were all very wearable and the pairings were really well considered and stylish. I thought the show itself was very entertaining. The music was lively and upbeat and the walks were perfectly choreographed. I also liked that there was a bit of dancing and humour, it had a really fun atmosphere, fab for Spring and Summer. The models were all gorgeous, full of smiles and attitude!
Obviously I have to mention Amy Childs, although she didn't speak, she looked great and strutted her stuff on the catwalk! Big thanks to Jon and the PR team for inviting me!
