Last week me and my boyfriend set off for a 3 night stay in London, it might not seem that exciting to you if you live down south, but living in Northumberland, a 3 hour train ride away from London, it was a nice change! As always I obsessively planned this trip, making a detailed itinerary (nerd alert!), but I'd done so much research on London I knew exactly what I wanted to see and do and wanted to cram in all in!

We stayed at the Tune Hotel at Kings Cross, we found that for a budget hotel this one was great, the location was fab and the rooms were modern and clean, great for when you're not spending much time in the room!

After arriving in London at lunch time, we checked in, dropped the bags off and away we went. Our first port of call was Oxford Circus/Street. I nipped off to Regent Street for my first Kiko experience, I was surprised just how cheap it was and picked up a few bits, apparently there is one coming to Newcastle which I am very happy about! Along the way we stopped at Smack Lobster Deli which I was desperate to try. We both went for lobster rolls which we out of this world, I also had some courgette fries and my boyfriend had lobster chowder, would definitely recommend!

Onto Oxford Street I made some sneaky Lush purchases, all Oxford Street exclusives, post coming soon! I also popped into Tiger and picked up some fab stuff, why don't we have one in Newcastle?! We popped our heads into Liberty which was gorgeous! Then it was our time to be super touristy and go for a ride on the London Eye, I've never been on it but the view was amazing! For dinner we decided to try Wahaca as I'd heard good things, I had the fish tacos which were super yummy, as well as churros with a chocolate dipping sauce that spoke to my soul!

Stay tuned for what we got up to on the other days!

  • Your food pictures make me so hungry! I get the excitement about London. I live in Belgium so London is not super far but still too far to visit often. I am already planning my next trip although I need to save up first!
