Something about the Autumn/Winter makes me really in the mood for DIY, I don't know why, but this season makes me feel super crafty! While trawling Pinterest for DIY ideas, one of my favourite pastimes! I came across lots of people who had made mug cozies. I always thought they were so cute, but there is one flaw in my plan is that I can't knit...but fortunately my mam came to the rescue and offered to make me a couple, so I could share the pattern with you!
This is the pattern for the front mug cozy, the measurements of the mug are 15 1/2 cm in height and circumference is 28 1/2 cm, both mugs are the tall ones from Starbucks, but obviously you will have to adapt the pattern if your mug is a different size. I think the brown wool looks really nice and seasonal but you can use any colour you like.
