Fleur de Force Lipgloss Review

I've been an avid watcher of Fleur's videos for a while now, so when I heard she was realising a makeup line, I was super excited! I think Fleur is very down to earth, unlike a lot of YouTubers these days. She always knows what she's talking about and makes great recommendations. I also really liked her book The Glam Guide, which again had lots of good advice. I hoped that her makeup line would reflect that and it didn't disappoint!

Although I did like the look of the eyeshadow quads, I already have shades very similar so I decided not to give them a try. I also really liked the look of the makeup bag, I love the watercolour design, but right now, I don't need another one! Instead I decided to pick up two of the lip glosses, I went for the shades Lucky Star (a gorgeous bright red) and Starry Starry Night (a lovely deep plum shade). The lip glosses retail at £6.99 which I think is quite reasonable, I would normally think this was a little expensive for a new brand, but the quality is great.

I really like the packaging of the glosses, I think the little signature with the stars is super cute (not to mention their star themed names). I found the little doe foot applicator really effective when applying the glosses, makes it nice and precise. I think that the idea of having a lip product that has the staying powder and pigmentation of a liquid lipstick but shines like a gloss is a great idea and they look gorgeous on.

Both of the shades I picked are quite dark, it takes just a second to build up a gorgeous wash of colour. I'm really pleased with both of these shades, the staying power is great unlike lots of lipgloss, and unlike liquid lipsticks it doesn't dry out the lips. I reckon I'll definitely be picking up a couple more shades!

Have you tried anything from Fleur de Force?
