Road trips can be so much fun, although I do wish driving here in the UK was as fun as in America, you're not likely to drive past the world's biggest ball of yarn on the A1! However saying that I do think road trips are as fun as you make them, which is why you have to have all the essentials and Carspring challenged me to pick out my top 10!
1. Eye Mask -
If you've got a long trip ahead of you, having an eye mask to block out the world is just what you need to get some peace! This sweet doggy one is from H&M!
2. Snacks -
I'm a massive snack person, I'd probably have a whole picnic packed! If I'm splurging M&S do great picky bits, but if I'm wanting something that isn't naughty (doesn't happen very often) I'll go for some Nakd nibbles, they're actually super yummy and so easy for on the go!
3. Lip Balm -
You don't want your lips drying out if it's a hot day and you're blasting the air con! My favourite lip balm is the Nuxe Reve de Miel!
4. Sunglasses -
You know it's #shortgirlproblems when the visor in the car doesn't shield you eyes! Nothing annoys me more than having to squint in the sun, so don't forget your sunglasses!
5. Notebook -
You might be one of those people who can't read or write in the car without feeling sick, I get like that sometimes, but if not having somewhere to write lists makes me feel super organised.
6. Deep Sleep Stress Less Rollerball -
This one from This Works is a god sent. I absolutely love the pillow spray, the lavender scent is such a comfort to me and this is great for on the go if you're feeling anxious or just want some shut eye.
7. Headphones -
Again if you want to shut out the world, these are my gorgeous Frends Rose Gold Headphones that my boyfriend got me for my birthday, they're to die for and so comfy to wear!
8. Book -
Again you might not be able to read in the car, but if you can it's a great way to pass the time if you're on a long drive!
9. Trivia Quiz -
Something fun to play in the car is a must! I bought this Marvel Trivia Quiz for me and my boyfriend to play on holiday.
10. Phone and music playlist -
Having a singalong is my favourite thing to do in the car, you can get some amazing throwback playlists on Spotify!
What are your road trip essentials?

Music is probably my biggest priority when going on a road trip, and probably a book - they both just get me through!
