I'm almost nearing the end of my reading challenge so I'm trying to squeeze in as much reading as possible! I'm currently up to 41 books out of 50, so hopefully I'll complete it! Here are the last 3 books I read and a little summary of what I thought!
Lobsters by Tom Ellen & Lucy Ivison - 4/5
Set around teenagers Sam and Hannah, both of whom are looking to lose their virginity before going away to university. It's a typical young adult book, although I found the characters and their friends to be actually really funny and interesting. It's teenage drama at its finest but it's an easy read and I enjoyed it.
P.S I Still Love You by Jenny Han - 5/5
This is the second book in the Lara Jean series, set in America about a teenage girl and her friends, family and of course boys! I'll not ruin the premise of the first book but I really love these books and can't wait for the third in the series to be released. The way they set the scene is brilliant, you get to understand all the characters and I found them easy to read, you'll get sucked into her world really quickly!
The Rest of Us Just Live Here - 2/5
I read More Than This by Patrick Ness last year and loved it, but I was really disappointed in this book. The story is based on a group of friends who never have anything extraordinary happen to them, crazy things go on in their town but all revolve around the "indie kids". I just felt like this book didn't have a real plot, didn't really go anywhere, didn't have any answers and the character development was poor, I didn't really care about the outcome!
Another lovely book post Katie! Great that you give honest reviews too. Jenny Han seems like a good author but haven’t got round to reading anything by her yet. Hope you complete your 50 book challenge, my goal is 20 and I’m currently at 18. Happy reading! :-) xx
