Travel | London Photo Diary | Day 2

A couple of weeks ago me and my boyfriend took a little city break down to London, here's our photo diary day 1! We started off our day by visiting somewhere that was very high on my wishlist, Choccywoccydoodah! I've loved the show for years and I was so excited to visit the flagship store. We decided to visit for breakfast because what's better than chocolate for breakfast?! I thought that the shop would be busy, even early on but it wasn't at all and we got seated straight away, would definitely recommend visiting in the morning! We both chose milkshakes and the dipping pot which were out of this world!

We then mooched around Carnaby Street and did a little shopping, before taking a slow walk through Leicester Square, where I definitely bought a Gary from Spongebob at the new Nickelodeon store...We then headed on to Covent Garden. After more looking around and some shopping we had our lunch at the Shake Shack. Not wanting to deprive my boyfriend of a burger and with me not eating meat I only had the cheese fries, although they were delicious!

From there we took a little trip to Snog, I wish we had one of these in Newcastle, best frozen yoghurt ever! Then we hopped in an Uber to Harrods, just to look around at all the things we can't afford! Although it's nice to dream! For dinner we went to a place called Inamo which I found after researching where you have an interactive tablecloth so you can order all your food and drinks right there! You could change the colour scheme, play games and even watch chef cam! I would highly recommend a visit if you're in London, we loved it and the Asian food was fab!

After dinner and some cocktails we made an impromptu trip to Hyde Park (something that wasn't on my itinerary! Shock horror!). My boyfriend saw on Facebook that Hyde Park were having free film screenings as part of the Barclays British Summer Time, as we finished dinner early we headed over and we found ourselves a spot to watch Top Gun, not forgetting a mojito and a raspberry cheesecake brownie from the Hummingbird Bakery that I picked up on the way! It was a fab night!

Stay tuned for Day 3!

  • Sounds like a lovely day out in London with some great tasting food. I've visited Choccywoccydoodah in London before but never actually had a drink or eaten there, so I definitely need to try it out. The pictures at the film screening look beautiful, what a gorgeous sunset over London!x
