Molton Brown Heavenly Gingerlily Bodycare Review

Molton Brown isn't a brand that I've used a lot, mainly because it's a little on the pricey side for casual purchasing. But I've had some lovely products as gifts over the years and they've always been gorgeous. They've just recently released a new Body Polishers collection, one of which is the Heavenly Gingerlily scent, which also comes in a Body Wash and a Body Lotion. The fragrance is made up of Warming Ginger Oil, Exotic Tuberose, Spicy Cedar Wood and White Lily. The three products make up a 3 step luxurious skin pampering experience!

Starting off the routine with the Gingerlily Body Wash (£18) - Made with moisturising extracts of white lily and tamanu oil to cleanse I found this body was super luxurious. I often find that a body wash is a body wash, nothing exciting, but this one lathered up so nicely and left a gorgeous aroma once it had been washed off.

Next in the routine comes the Heavenly Gingerlily Caressing Body Polisher (£34) from the new Body Polishers collection - I was obsessed with the packaging on this, even the cardboard box it came in felt luxurious, you just knew you were in for a treat before you'd even opened it! The scrub uses micro-exfoliating Tahitian sand, (anyone else think of Phil from Marvel Agents of Shield when you hear Tahiti?! Nerd Alert!) which used in circular movements I found left my skin feeling super soft. You know it's a good body scrub when it turns into a milk, it was so lovely to use!

Finally in the routine is the Gingerlily Body Lotion (£25) - Used on dry skin I found this lotion to be so moisturising, again the same woody floral scent it left a lovely aroma on the skin. I found that although super nourishing the cream was light and soaked in quickly, which I love in a lotion (lazy girl problems).

Although I loved all of these products, I found the Body Polisher to be the star of the show, it's probably the best scrub I've ever used, followed closely with the Soap & Glory Breakfast Scrub. I nearly drooled a little looking at all the other scents of the polishers, they sound amazing! Overall all of these products are now firm favourites, although I may be keeping them for special pampering occasions!
