If you follow me on Twitter you'll know me and my boyfriend are off on a little trip to Prague in March. It's somewhere I've been wanting to go for a while and so has Steven. We like to have a little city break somewhere over Easter, last year we went to Paris and the year before we went to Amsterdam. Harmless browsing of Jet2 flights and seeing how cheap gorgeous AirBnB's were, we couldn't resit, so we booked 3 nights.
I wanted to write a little post to ask if anyone had any recommendations for things to see and do, as well as any restaurant recommendations!
We're staying in the Old Town and have all of the touristy things on the itinerary, like the Astronomical Clock, Wenceslas Square and Prague Castle as well as a few others, but let me know if there any any must sees, maybe off the beaten path!
I'd also like to know about getting around, are the metro's/buses/trams easy to use? If you have any knowledge to impart please leave me a comment!

Hi Katie, I went to Prague a few years ago and it's such a beautiful city. I found the trams and the metros very easy to use. You just get day tickets with the metros and it's all signposted really well. I'd definitely recommend the castle, it is amazing. So many parts of it to see, there's even an old fashioned toy museum in it, worth a check out to see all the different Barbies over the years. They have the Absinthe museum and the Ice Bar which is great. Grab a little boat trip too, I hope that helped a bit :)
