My Top Picks | Newcastle Restaurant Week January 2017

One of my most favourite things to happen in Newcastle has to be Restaurant Week, they happen twice a year and I can't believe how fast they always come around! I've had the chance to visit quite a lot of the restaurants offering Restaurant Week deals so I thought I would give you a round up of some of my favourites with a link to a proper review of each place and their offers.

3 Courses £15

A newer addition to the restaurant scene, Cabana has plenty to choose from and is one of a kind here in Newcastle.

Pizza & A Drink £10

A firm favourite in Newcastle, this unique little restaurant does the most delicious pizzas and I think this is one of the best deals!

Gusto

2 Courses & A Drink £15

Somewhere a bit fancier, we often like to go to Gusto for an occasion, the food is always lovely and the setting on the quayside is beautiful.

Lola Jeans

2 Burgers £15

Always one to serve up a feast, we were lucky enough to sample some of their delicious burgers at their Newcastle launch, definitely worth a visit!

2 Courses £15

Bringing authentic Indian street food straight to Newcastle, Dabbawal is in my opinion one of the best Indian restaurants in Newcastle, not like your average takeaway!

Breakfast for 2 £10, Picnic for 2 £15

I've had the picnic here a few times, it's so adorable! If you're looking for a nice treat I'd definitely recommend here, totally delicious and out of the norm!

3 Courses £15

Another relatively new addition to Newcastle, the only Caribbean restaurant as far as I'm aware! It's really yummy here, although it's a chain it has great atmosphere and tasty food!

2 Courses £10

Another fancier offering here, again we often go here for occasions, the food and service has always been brilliant!

3 Courses £10

Another one of the better offers here I think, we visited here last restaurant week and the food really is great, it's a nice relaxed atmosphere with a cool vibe, be prepared to stuff your face!

Tasting Crate £10

I haven't been here since I stopped eating meat, although my carnivorous boyfriend still loves it here, American indulgence at it's finest, the potato skins are to die for!

2 Courses £10, 3 Courses £15

A newbie in Newcastle George's is already very popular, I can image lots of people taking up this offer, it was still finding its feet when we visited although the food didn't disappoint!

2 Courses £10

A burger institution here in the North East, I'm an avid visitor here and I've never been disappointed, many would say the best burgers in the North East, I'd highly recommend a visit!

We haven't decided yet where we're going this time, it's a toss up between Central Oven + Shaker and Chaophraya I reckon! Where will you be visiting? I'd love to know your top picks!
